Logan has enjoyed a number of successes in his racing career — not least during his time in Formula 2.Sarge made quite an impression in the 2022 F2 season while representing Carlin, when he placed fourth in the driver standings and racked up 148 points. That campaign saw him finish third in Barcelona and second in Baku, but it was Logan’s two feature race victories that will live long in the memory. His first time claiming top spot came at Silverstone in Round 14 of the championship.Having qualified in pole position, the stage was set — Logan led the race from start to finish and claimed his maiden F2 triumph.“What a day to win my first-ever Formula 2 feature race here at Silverstone,” he said, immediately following the victory.“It’s such a historic track and my favourite circuit on the calendar, making it extremely special.”
But further glory was to come just seven days later in Austria, albeit in more dramatic circumstances. Sarge qualified in P3, but damp conditions saw him drop all the way down to P14 while driving on wet tyres. He rallied impressively, however — climbing back up to P3, before ultimately attaining first place after post-race penalties elsewhere.“Obviously I was pumped,” Logan said, following that eye-catching success in Spielberg.“About midway through the race, I asked where we were, and they said P4. I was pretty shocked.“To gain that amount of positions was pretty insane to me, but that's just a testament to how quick we were.”Logan’s second F2 win was testament to his remarkable resilience, in a year where he amassed an impressive 21 top-ten finishes — and ended the campaign as the championship's highest-placed rookie.
