Silverstone has historically been a happy hunting ground for Logan.
The Floridian’s first victory at the iconic track came back in 2017, when racing for Carlin in British Formula 4.
It was his second triumph of that season, having also finished top just two rounds earlier in Rockingham.
And further success at Silverstone was on the horizon. Logan secured consecutive second-place finishes the following year, while driving for R-ace GP in the Formula Renault Eurocup.
Then, having made the step up to Formula 3, he enjoyed two memorable races at the home of British motorsport in 2020 – achieving pole position and a P3 finish, before going on to secure his maiden win at that level the following weekend.
It was a similar story in Formula 2, after Logan returned to Carlin and joined the Williams Racing Driver Academy.
He qualified in pole position at Silverstone, before going on to win the feature race – becoming the first American to do so.
“What a day to win my first-ever Formula 2 feature race here at Silverstone,” he said, following the race.
“It’s such a historic track and my favourite circuit on the calendar, making it extremely special.
“A big thank you to Williams for the support this season, and to Carlin for putting a great car on the ground to give me the opportunity to go out there and have a good weekend.”
Logan will hope for similar good fortune when he returns to Silverstone for this weekend’s British Grand Prix.
