Logan returns to Formula 1 action this weekend — and he’ll be raring to go in Mogyoród.
The Floridian enjoyed a well-earned break following the British Grand Prix, with a visit to the Goodwood Festival of Speed sandwiched between races.
An enjoyable day driving the iconic Williams FW08 aside, Logan will be buoyed by a commendable performance at Silverstone earlier this month.
He recorded a P11 finish at the home of British motorsport, which represented a season-best display from LS2.
Now he will be looking to build on that result with another positive showing at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Hungaroring is a challenging track, though, in part because of the hot summer conditions that typically greet participants in Mogyoród.
It stretches over 4.381 km (2.722 miles) and is a test of endurance and understanding, with a tendency to increase in grip during the race weekend.
There are few overtaking opportunities across the 14 slow to medium-speed corners, so Logan will be aware that an impressive qualifying performance could make all the difference.
The best opportunities to pass come in Sector 1, prior to single-file turns and a slow-speed chicane in Sector 2.
Those with a high-downforce setup can then enjoy a productive Sector 3, before unleashing straight down the pit lane.
Having enjoyed an improved display last time out at Silverstone, Logan will be full of optimism ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
