That's Logan's last race before the summer break. He'll be back in action at Zandvoort in four weeks!

Thanks for the first part of the year. We all deserve a good break.

That's the Belgian GP over. Logan has a P18 finish after another clean and battling race.

Sarge said he'd do it - and he did! Up to P18 on the penultimate lap 👏

Let me handle the overtake.

It's Lap 42/44 and Logan has kept his pace up to reach the Haas!

That's 2s between Logan and the Haas now. He'll get DRS before the end of this race.

Logan is now just 5.5s away from Hulkenberg in P18. He's closing in every single lap.

This is really good. No concerns with the porpoising you have. Keep doing what you're doing.

Logan is 9.4s adrift Hulkenberg, but catching lap by lap.

Logan's managing his pace in P19. Others are pitting now as multiple strategies play out.

We have Hulkenberg 13s ahead. He's on a medium, looking to go to the end. He's already done six laps.

After frustrating Tsunoda, who can't get by, Logan goes to the pit lane for Hard tires. This should be his last stint.

The VCARB pair are using their fresher rubber to fight Sargeant. Ricciardo gets past, but Logan fends off Tsunoda for now.

KMag goes wheel-to-wheel at Les Combes with Logan. Logan wasn't in the mood for waving the Haas driver by and kept alongside, defending the inside line. Magnussen pushes Sarge to the line as they tackle the chicane side-by-side and gets into P15. Ricciardo is right behind.

Sarge is now P16, but Hulkenberg has pitted early once again. The other Haas of Magnussen is within DRS range and chasing Logan down.

Magnussen pits after looking like he's aiming for a one-stop race. He slots in behind Sarge in P18, 3.4s behind.

Stroll passes Sarge, but Tsunoda now pits and falls to P19. Logan remains in P18.

OK, so Stroll is on hards. You have a 3kph advantage on him, but your tires are four laps older.

Stroll pits after going long in his first stint. He's 0.3s behind Sarge on fresh hard tyres.

Logan is P19, 3.8s away from Gasly, who just lost a place to Hulkenberg. Hulkenberg's early pit stop triggered this first round of stops.

Williams double stack. Alex pits first, and Logan follows for a set of medium tires.

PIT: Okay, we're thinking plan A2. Feedback on flap? LOGAN: Happy on flap.

Logan is really pushing Tsunoda for P18. Zhou got his car going again, but he's 70s behind Sarge, so is nothing to worry about.

Logan is now P19 after Zhou has a mechanical problem and makes his way slowly around the circuit.

Get ready, Tsunoda might lose DRS

A clean start for Logan, but he's back to P20. Tsunoda is withing striking distance ahead.

Okay, radio check. Everybody is on medium, but Zhou is on hard, Sainz in front is on hard, and Ricciardo is on soft.

Logan lowers himself into the car. It's nearly time to go racing.

What a difference in view we have today. The rain of yesterday is long gone and we instead have glorious sunshine with some cloud cover overhead.

Logan was the first car to get out on track today as the pit lane opened.

It's a day at the Spa for Sarge today. 44 laps around the historic Spa-Francorchamps await. Logan starts from P18 with lights out in just under an hour.

Logan qualifies in P19 for the 2024 Belgian GP with a 1:57.230 lap.

The traffic causes huge problems for Logan out there. He almost collides with Max Verstappen on his fast lap. That ruins his lap, and he's out of Qualifying.

Logan has set a 1:57.230. That's a faster lap, but he's P16 for the moment.

Fresh Pirelli Intermediate rubber is on Sarge's car. He goes back out needing to find improvements to reach Q2.

Logan's edged down to P18, but he's back to the pit lane to get a change of rubber. The team pull him into the garage. There could be some setup adjustments, too.

Sarge's second lap is quicker - a 1:58.736. That boosts him to P15.

Logan's 2:00.528 puts him in with a time. He's P20 as everyone completes their first tour.

"I'm going to open the gap"

Everyone is using Intermediate tires, including Logan. He is straight out on track.

The rain has calmed down since FP3. It's wet on the surface, but there's no water in the air for the moment. Logan should be good to go in five minutes, probably with Intermediate tires.

And that is the end of a very stop-start session. Logan ends in P17, but there's been no representative laps today.

There's no time to set a fast lap but the session has resumed for just two minutes.

We're only watching the timing tower under this red flag. The clock has ticked past the 10:00 mark, but there's no sign of this rain easing up.

It's too wet for further laps. The race director has issued a red flag while we wait for the weather to improve.

No one has returned to set laps, but Stroll's car is recovered and the track is clear.

The session has stopped after Stroll has crashed.

And that's Logan back in the garage. The visibility is getting particularly tricky.

Logan's first Saturday lap is a 2:11.220. It's soaking out there.

OK, so just watch out for Turn 8. Verstappen, the first car, went out.

Logan goes out for his first laps. He's got the inters on.

We are go for FP3.

That's the sound of FP3 being five minutes out

Sarge is set to go out for FP3 in 30 minutes. It's his last chance to get the setup right before he goes qualifying.

Free Practice 2 comes to a close, with Logan finishing in P18 and posting a best lap time of 1:44.226. We’ll be back for Free Practice 3 and Qualifying tomorrow!

Logan has switched to medium tyres for the closing stages of Free Practice 2.

LS2 continues with race simulations, with 10 minutes of FP2 still to go.

It’s the medium tyres for Logan as he emerges onto the track.
